What’s included
Student removals are for light inventories: bedroom furniture, desk, chair, small sofa if halls allow, and boxed clothes and books. We do not pitch this as the main way we work; it is a practical add-on when your load fits a van and an hour or two of help.
Blankets protect furniture in transit. Insurance is provided. Ask us what is covered when you book. We expect you to pack personal items unless you add a packing slot.
For a whole shared house clearing at once, flat removals or man and van may fit better. We will say which when we see the list.
How our service works
Send the inventory honestly. Include floor level and whether lifts work in halls blocks. We quote in writing when dates are fixed; last-minute calls depend on what is free that week.
On the day someone with keys meets us at each end. You label what is yours in a shared house so nothing else goes on the van. We load, drive and unload into the room or hall bay you show us.
We do not clean rooms for deposit returns or dispose of leftover food. Those stay with you or the landlord.
What affects the cost
Fewer items mean a smaller van and shorter job. Stairs and summer weekend congestion around student areas add time rather than mystery charges. A move home outside Greater Manchester is quoted as a longer run.
If the list grows into a full flat, we requote as flat removals so crew size stays safe.

What we do not cover
We are not a cleaning service for deposit inspections and we do not store boxes over summer unless agreed as part of another service you booked. Hazardous waste, bikes without protection you provide, and items halls forbid should stay off the inventory. If housemates share the van, each person should label boxes to avoid disputes at the other end.

Is this only for university students?
It is aimed at small term-time moves. Anyone with a similar light load can use man and van or this service if it fits.
Can my parents book on my behalf?
Yes. We need contact details for someone on site at both addresses on the day.
Do you move fridges from halls?
Only if halls allow it and the item is on the list. Many rooms exclude large appliances.
Can several students share one van?
Sometimes, if both drops are agreed in advance and everything fits safely. Tell us when you quote.
What if I only have boxes?
That is often a man and van job. We will point you to the right service when the list is small.
